As my name suggests, I am an Aspie, which is a nickname for someone who has Asperger's Syndrome, which is a type of autistic spectrum disorder. Over the years, I've struggled with many things like trying hard to blend with everyone else and controlling my temper, but that hasn't stopped me from being the artist I am today.

Drawing is my way of expressing my thoughts, once something remains in my mind for a while, I get the urge to draw it. I tend to keep my art simple at times and as you can tell from the style of manga art I draw, I tend to prefer shonen manga over shojo manga, seeing as I was raised on male-oriented stuff (despite being a girl). :XD:.

Yeah, things are fine. Some of us (my family) have been a bit poorly over the past 2 weeks, but we're getting better. And I'm glad to hear you had a great time in New York (I hope to go there someday, as my mum's been).

Hmm... you're signature caught my attention. :)

I think people should learn to understand mental illness. My mother worked in that field, and part of what she did was 'fight the stigma.'

It seems like you've come to terms with yourself. Bravo!
Whether it's mental ilness, addiction, or whatever else it may be, acceptance is the first step to recovery.
